This website has been established by the Dante Alighieri Society of Canberra as a contribution to national and international observance of the 700th anniversary of the passing of Dante Alighieri.

The primary purpose of this website is to publicise activities being hosted by Dante Alighieri Societies around Australia to mark this anniversary. These activities are being undertaken as a collaborative initiative of participating Dante Alighieri Societies around Australia. We gratefully acknowledge the support of the Società Dante Alighieri (Rome) throughout the planning process for these events.
